Top 10 Tips on Becoming a Writer

Have you ever wanted to know how you become a (good) writer? Who better to ask than the writers themselves. The Guardian asked several writers to list their top ten tips on becoming a writer. ALMA nominee Michael Morpurgo gives his answers in part two of the article, here, while the 2005 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award Recipient Philip Pullman keeps his response brief:  “My main rule is to say no to things like this, which tempt me away from my proper work.”  More answers found in part one of the article, here.
